WHAT IS A DIETITIAN?

WHY MIGHT MY CHILD NEED A DIETITIAN?

Good nutrition is one of the most crucial parts of proper growth and development for children. Speaking to a dietitian can help ensure that your child is getting all the good nutrients their bodies need to grow well. A dietitian is especially important if your child is following any sort of special diet, or avoiding any foods for any reason. Registered Dietitians are trained professionals with the expertise to help parents ensure they are giving their children the very best nutritional start.

DO I NEED A DOCTOR'S REFERRAL TO SEE AISLING OSLIZLOK?

No, you do not need a referral to see Aisling. Parents can self-refer their child by emailing Aisling directly or entering their details to the 'Contact' page

WHERE DO APPOINTMENTS TAKE PLACE?

Aisling offers one-to-one consultations, family sessions, and group workshops. 
Dubai-based clients: Aisling offers home visits or virtual consultations viz Zoom
Rest of UAE and GCC: Aisling offers virtual consultations via Zoom

HOW LONG DO CONSULTATIONS USUALLY LAST?

Consultations usually last 45-60 minutes. Longer or shorter consultations can be arranged on request.

DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE PRESENT AT A CONSULTATION?

Yes, your child will be required to attend the initial consultation. 
It is recommended that your child also attends review appointments, however this can be flexible, depending on the child's age and feeding issues.

DO PARENTS NEED TO BE PRESENT AT TEENAGERS APPOINTMENTS?

Yes, a parent or carer must be present at all appointments for children under 16 years of age. Teenagers aged 16 years and above can see Aisling by themselves, provided the parents give written permission prior to the appointment taking place

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES AISLING OSLIZLOK TAKE?

Payment is accepted by cash, cheque or online bank transfer

WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER DIETITIAN SERVICES?

This depends on your insurance provider and what level of coverage you have. Check with your provider if they will cover your visit to the dietitian. It helps if you have a doctors referral too!
